Professional trainings

In order to systematically cover the activities carried out in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and to increase the effectiveness of informational work, on August 5, trainings were held in the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia for the personnel of the moral and psychological support groups of army corps.

The solemn ceremony of demobilization

In one of the military units of the N army corp, a solemn ceremony of demobilization of servicemen who completed compulsory military service took place. The command staff of the military unit thanked the demobilized for their service to the Motherland, wished them success in civilian life. A number of demobilized servicemen were awarded incentive awards for the two years of conscientious service.

The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan continues to spread misinformation, claiming that the units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire at the Azerbaijani positions located in several directions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the last few days. Atom Razmik Harutyunyan (born in 1978), a participant in the three-month training camp of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defence, reservist private, died suddenly in his sleep on the night of August 3-4. The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia shares the heavy sorrow of the loss and expresses support to the family members, relatives and fellow soldiers of Atom Harutyunyan. A forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

Command staff trainings

In order to develop the professional knowledge of servicemen and improve their practical skills, command staff trainings were held with the officers of the N military unit.

Military oath

The other day, a solemn oath ceremony was held for the conscripts who joined the military unit N. The conscripts swore to selflessly serve the Motherland, unconditionally follow the orders of their commanders, be worthy soldiers of the Armenian army and defend the borders of their homeland with honor. The event held in the city pantheon was attended by the command staff of the military unit, representatives of local self-government bodies and the clergy, relatives of servicemen.

On July 23, around 1:30 p.m., in the border zone of Gegharkunik region, Armenian servicemen discovered a soldier of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, private Kamiz Mubarizi Ibaev, who had crossed the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. As a result of the latter's explanation of the reasons for crossing the border, he was found out to have got lost. Today Ibayev was returned to the Azerbaijani side through the command of the peacekeeping group of the Russian Federation stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Tactical trainings

In order to improve the professional skills, to increase the level of field training, to strengthen the moral-psychological and physical qualities of the servicemen, on August 2, tactical trainings with combat shooting were held with the servicemen of the rifle subdivisions of the N military unit.

Safety day in the military unit

On August 1, in one of the military units of the N army corp, trainings on "Safety of the Military Service" were held. In the presented training points, the servicemen were taught the rules of operation and use of weapons, military equipment, and ammunition, the organization of first aid, as well as the general provisions and features of ensuring a safe service environment.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan continues to spread disinformation. Units of the Armenian Armed Forces did not open fire on the night of July 30-31 in the direction of Azerbaijani positions located on the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
