The parties emphasized the high level of cooperation established between Armenia and France in the defence sector, expressing confidence that it would continue to develop. Issues related to the progress and prospects of cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

On September 10, within the framework of a working visit to Poland, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, met with General Wiesław Kukuła, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Polish Republic. During the meeting, issues related to the development and expansion of cooperation between the Armed Forces of Armenia and Poland were discussed, as well as a number of areas of mutual interest. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Poland, Alexander Arzoumanian.

On August 21, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Armenia, Christos Sofianopoulos, the Defence Attaché, Brigadier General Christos Arseniou, who is completing his mission in Armenia, and the newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Vasileios Tzouvaras. Suren Papikyan thanked Brigadier General Christos Arseniou for his great contribution to the development of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defence sector. The Minister emphasized the recent achievements within the framework of cooperation, wishing the Brigadier General success in his future activities. At the same time, the Minister of Defence, Suren Papikyan, congratulated the newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Tzouvaras, and wished him success. At the end of the meeting, the Minister awarded Brigadier General Christos Arseniou with the Medal for Military Cooperation.

First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Joseph Nzabamwita. The meeting was also attended by the Defence Attaché of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Anthony B. Mbagaze. Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the position, wishing him success in his responsible mission. During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of defence between Armenia and Rwanda were discussed. Views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest. The Ambassador conveyed to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia the warm greetings of the Chief of the Defence Staff of Rwanda and the readiness to develop bilateral relations.

On July 29, First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan received a delegation led by the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia, Daphne Mare. During the meeting, the main directions of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the ICRC, as well as issues related to the support provided to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia in the field of international humanitarian law, were discussed. Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan highly appreciated the joint work and results, expressing gratitude to the ICRC delegation for the cooperation and support provided in developing the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. In turn, Daphne Mare presented the process of long-term cooperation, emphasizing that one of its main goals is the continuous development of the capabilities of the armed forces in the direction of integrating international humanitarian law.
