During the meeting, issues related to the reforms being implemented in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the development and expansion of cooperation between the armed forces of Armenia and Poland were discussed. The parties reached an agreement to develop experience-exchange programs in a number of areas of mutual interest

It is worth noting that the World Military Wrestling Championship was held in Armenia in 2024.

On September 22, at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by Lieutenant General Stefano Mannino, President of the Italian Centre for Higher Defence Studies. During the meeting, issues related to Armenia-Italy cooperation in the defence sector, specifically regarding military education and trainings were discussed. The parties reached a number of agreements on expanding cooperation in the field of military education. As part of the visit to Armenia, the delegation led by Lieutenant General Mannino also visited the Military Academy named after Vazgen Sargsyan and the National Defence Research University, where prospects and directions for cooperation between the military educational institutions were discussed.

On September 17, at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, met with Andrew Loomis, Deputy Assistant Secretary of War. Issues regarding Armenia-US cooperation in the defense sector were discussed during the meeting. Both sides highly valued the current level of cooperation. In particular, emphasis was placed on developing cooperation in areas such as peacekeeping, the training of NCOs, instructors, and junior commanders, military education, as well as the conduct of joint exercises and drills. Andrew Loomis noted that the US will continue cooperation within the framework of ongoing programs and is ready to discuss opportunities to deepen cooperation in new areas.
