Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Minister of State for Military Production of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa. Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt Armen Sargsyan and the Chairman of the Military Industry Committee of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry Aram Jivanyan attended the meeting. The meeting focused on military-technical cooperation.

On November 28, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia Amal Afifi. Minister Papikyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming her new position and wished her success. During the meeting, the prospects for Armenia-Egypt cooperation in the defence sector were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on a range of regional and international security issues.

On November 17, on the sidelines of his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Crown Prince of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE, Karen Grigoryan, also participated in the meeting. A number of topics related to the prospects for Armenia-UAE defence cooperation were discussed. The parties expressed their readiness to further develop bilateral cooperation in the defence sector and sign an agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in the field of defence, defining the main directions of future cooperation. Issues related to regional and international security were also addressed.

Following the welcoming ceremony at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defence, a tête-à-tête meeting was held between the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan and the Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Chikovani, which was followed by an expanded meeting with the participation of the delegations. The Ministers highly appreciated the ongoing process of Armenia-Georgia cooperation in the defence sector, exchanged information on the reforms being implemented in the armed forces of both countries, and reached several agreements. Topics related to regional security were also discussed.

On October 21, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the Minister of Defence of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, at the premises of the Ministry of Defence. A welcoming ceremony for the Minister of Defence of Georgia, Irakli Chikovani, was held at the Ministry of Defence, with the participation of the guard of honour and the military orchestra. The national anthems of the Republic of Armenia and Georgia were performed.
