The results of the "Warrior of Peace" competition have been summarized

On August 25, the solemn closing ceremony of the "Warrior of Peace" international competition was held at the Monte Melkonyan Military Sports Academy, which was attended by Deputy Defence Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Defence Minister of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Viktor Goremikin, high-ranking military, heads of accredited diplomatic missions and military attachés in RA.

Command meetings

On August 25, command meetings were held in the N army corp. Issues related to combat training, combat duty and organization of daily service in military units, strengthening of military discipline were discussed. Clarifications were given regarding the questions and recommendations raised by the participants of the meetings. Special attention was paid to increasing the level of individual training of the command staff, knowledge of management documents and introduction of advanced experience.

The anniversary of the formation of the military unit was celebrated

On August 23, the anniversary of the formation of the N military unit located in the northeastern part of RA was celebrated. The commanding staff of the army corp and military unit, representatives of local self-government bodies, officers and servicemen took part in the solemn ceremony. The history of the formation of the military unit and its combat path were presented. "The personnel of the military unit performed all the assigned combat tasks with glory, many servicemen created their combat biographies here with numerous heroic episodes," said the commander of the military unit. During the event, a number of servicemen and reserve officers were awarded for services to the motherland, high performance of combat training and high military discipline.

The final round of the "Warrior of Peace" competition was held

As part of the "Warrior of Peace" international competition, on August 23, the literature and art contest "Mr. and Mrs." was held at the Military Sports Academy named after Monte Melkonyan. National teams presented music, dance and recitation performances in national costumes. The jury, whose members are cultural figures, decided the winner of the given round. The team representing the Armed Forces of Armenia is in first place.

Professional training with artillerymen

On August 23, a professional training was held with the servicemen of one of the military units of the N army corp. The crew presented the artillery means, carried out work on identifying the targets of the conventional enemy, adjusting and transmitting the coordinates, and successfully completed the tasks set.

The final round of the "Warrior" contest was held

On August 22, within the framework of the "Warrior of Peace" international competition, the final of the "Warrior" contest, the round of fire training, "Sniper", was held. The participants hit targets at a distance of 100 meters from three firing positions. Ten bullets were provided for each exercise.

Meeting at the Ministry of Defence administrative complex

On August 22, Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Major General Edward Asryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kopirkin. The defence attaché of the embassy, colonel Igor Shcherbakov, took part in the meeting. Sergey Kopirkin congratulated Edward Asryan on assuming the post of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and wished him success throughout his responsible mission. A number of issues related to military cooperation as well as regional security were discussed at the meeting.

Oath Ceremony

The other day, a solemn oath ceremony of conscripts was held in the military pantheon of Sisian, which was attended by the commanding staff of the military unit, representatives of local self-government bodies, parents and relatives of servicemen, and guests. The conscripts who joined the Armed Forces swore to be worthy soldiers of the Armenian Army, to serve the Motherland with honor and to protect the state borders. At the end of the solemn event, military personnel and parents of servicemen made speeches, wishing the conscripts a safe and peaceful service.

"Warrior of Peace" competition continues

On August 22, the second round of the "Warrior" contest, "Organization of Medical Aid", was held within the framework of the "Warrior of Peace" international competition. The participants of the competition carried out operations of evacuation of the wounded from the conventional battlefield and organization of first aid. The team of Kazakhstan had the most success and recorded the best result in the round. In the individual competition of men and women, the servicemen of the Armenian team took the first and second places, respectively. On August 22, the participants pf the competition will compete in the third round, "Sniper", of the "Warrior" contest.
