The delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia visited Armenia
The delegation of the Department of Social Affairs and Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia visited Armenia from October 19 to 20 within the framework of cooperation in the field of social security of servicemen. Alexander Avetisyan, the head of the social protection department of the RA Ministry of Defence, met the delegation. The partners were presented with the system of privileges and guarantees established by RA legislation for servicemen and their families, the programs implemented by the state in that direction, and other issues related to the social protection of servicemen were discussed. Following the meeting, agreements were reached regarding further cooperation in directions of mutual interest. The delegation of the Department of Social Affairs and Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia also held meetings at the Servicemen's Insurance Fund and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

At around 16:30 today, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces again opened fire from various caliber firearms at the Armenian positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Armenian side has no casualties and that the situation is relatively stable as of 5.30 pm.

Within the framework of the bilateral cooperation of the Defence Ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the delegation of the military police of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan was in Armenia from October 17 to 19. The members of the delegation, accompanied by Colonel K. Orimbaev, Military Attaché of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, were received by the Head of the RA Ministry of Defence, Major General Ashot Zakaryan. The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience, and highlighted the importance of such meetings. Within the framework of the visit, the delegation of the military police of the Republic of Armenia also visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex and paid tribute to the memory of the canonized victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Overnight October 19 and 20, at 00:05 a.m., units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan opened fire from different caliber firearms and also mortars in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijan'i border. No casualties from Armenian side. As of now, the situation is relatively stable.

As part of his working visit to India, RA Defence Minister Suren Papikyan met with Indian Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh. The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation, the possibilities of expanding cooperation, a number of issues of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation were discussed. The Defence Minister of Armenia presented the situation created as a result of the recent aggression of Azerbaijan and thanked for India's clear position in international platforms. The surveillance of Azerbaijani military activity at nights revealed that the Azerbaijani forces are violating the ceasefire by starting to intentionally shoot at each other and then only target the Armenian positions. In the combat line of contact, particularly in the Sotk-Kutakan section, the nighttime surveillance and analysis of Azerbaijani military activity revealed that their units are violating the ceasefire first by shooting at each other, then in the direction of Armenian positions. By doing so, the Azerbaijani military is creating the impression as if the Armenian side is shooting at their outposts, and then begin to shoot at Armenian positions using various caliber small arms falsely claiming it to be a response to gunfire from Armenian side.
