The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Receives Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group
<img width="250" height="150" align="left" alt="" src="/UserFiles/Image/press-rel-2011-02-10-a-2.jpg"/>Today ARM MoD Seyran Ohanyan received the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the personal representative of the OSCE chairperson. By the request of the co-chairs, Seyran Ohanyan told about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line, stating that the Armenian side strictly continues keeping the armistice regime. At the same time ARM Defence Minister expressed his concern about the violations of the armistice by the Azerbaijani side, particularly about the activation of sniper activities. In order to nullify these activities the Armenian side takes relevant measures.

<img width="250" height="150" align="left" src="/UserFiles/Image/press-rel-2011-02-10-a-2.jpg" alt=""/>ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանն այսօր ընդունել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներին ու ԵԱՀԿ գործող նախագահի անձնական ներկայացուցչին: ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների խնդրանքով Սեյրան Օհանյանը ներկայացրել է իրադրությունը հայ-ադրեբաջանական շփման գծում` նշելով, որ հայկական կողմը շարունակում է խստորեն պահպանել հրադադարի ռեժիմը: Միաժամանակ, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումների ու հատկապես դիպուկահար գործողությունների ակտիվացման կապակցությամբ, որի չեզոքացման ուղղությամբ հայկական կողմը ձեռնարկում է համապատասխան միջոցառումներ:

In order to participate in the preliminary discussions about “Cooperation-2011” Rapid-Tactical Military Exercise of the Rapid Reaction Collective Forces of the CSTO, which is to be held in October, 2011 in Armenia, on 07 February, 2011 the ARM AF delegation, headed by Chief of the ARM AF GS Operative Department major-general Artak Davtyan, left for Moscow.

On 2-4 February, 2011 in Moscow conferences for MoD officials responsible for peacekeeping activities took place, where the ARM MoD delegation also had its participation. During the conferences, they discussed the formation issues of the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces and matters on relevant combined actions by the CSTO collective peacekeeping forces, on planning and holding military exercises.

In order to participate in the preliminary discussions about “Cooperation-2011” Rapid-Tactical Military Exercise of the Rapid Reaction Collective Forces of the CSTO, which is to be held in October, 2011 in Armenia, on 07 February, 2011 the ARM AF delegation, headed by Chief of the ARM AF GS Operative Department Artak Davtyan, left for Moscow. The conference, taking place on 8-9 February, where besides the ARM delegation representatives from RF MoD, CSTO combined staff, and Armed Forces of CSTO member countries are also participating, the goals of the military exercise and some organizational matters will be discussed. 2011թ. հոկտեմբերին Հայաստանում անցկացելիք ՀԱՊԿ-ի արագ արձագանքման հավաքական ուժերի հետ համատեղ «Փոխգործակցություն-2011» օպերատիվ-տակտիկական զորավարժության անցկացման վերաբերյալ նախնական քննարկումներին մասնակցելու նպատակով ս.թ. փետրվարի 7-ին Մոսկվա է մեկնել ՀՀ զինված ուժերի պատվիրակությունը` ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ օպերատիվ վարչության պետ, գեներալ-մայոր Արտակ Դավթյանի գլխավորությամբ: Փետրվարի 8-ից 9-ը անցկացվող խորհրդակցությանը, որին ՀՀ ԶՈՒ պատվիրակությունից բացի մասնակցելու են ՌԴ ՊՆ, ՀԱՊԿ-ի միացյալ շտաբի և ՀԱՊԿ-ի անդամ պետությունների զինված ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները, կքննարկվեն զորավարժության նախապատրաստմանն ու անցկացմանն առնչվող կազմակերպչական հարցեր: ՀՀ ՊՆ տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչություն

Today ARM Minister of Defence Seyran Ohanyan received the military attachés who are accredited in the Republic of Armenia. The Minister introduced the 2011 primary issues of the Ministry of Defence approved by the ARM Government. He also talked about the present defence policy, defence reforms, and answered their questions. <img width="500" height="185" align="middle" src="/UserFiles/Image/press-rel-2010-01-29-a-3.jpg" alt=""/> Talking about the constant warlike announcements of Azerbaijan in the negotiation process of Karabakh conflict, Seyran Ohanyan particularly stated, “Azerbaijan is threatening, saying let’s solve the problem quickly, otherwise I will start a war. We treat the issue as follows: let us negotiate, in order to solve the problem without a war. You can come and meet the commanders of all the sections of our AF – they are not coward and retreating people”.
