ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը հունվարի 12-ին աշխատանքային այցով մեկնել է Մոսկվա: Այցի շրջանակներում նախատեսվում են նախարարի հանդիպումները ՌԴ պաշտպանության նախարար Անատոլի Սերդյուկովի և մի շարք այլ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնատար անձնանց հետ, որոնց հետ կքննարկվեն հայ-ռուսական ռազմական համագործակցությանը վերաբերող հարցեր: ՀՀ ՊՆ Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչություն

On the 10th of January, 2010 around 19:00 o’clock a trespassing incident on the Yeraskh-Nakhijevan sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border was reported. The RA citizen Eghishe Petros Gevorgyan (born 1958), together with his wife and three under-age children (7, 6 and 3 years old) by a car of “Eraz” model, ignoring the warnings of the Armenian frontiers broke through the blockings and crossing the border, through the shootings of the Azerbaijani side passed to the territory of Nakhijevan. The Armenian frontiers did not open a destructive fire for the sake of the three under-age children in the vehicle. Eghishe Petros Gevorgyan was previously sued 8 times for robbery, car stealing and other crimes. The respective international humanitarian organizations were informed about the incident. A law suit was taken, an investigation is in process and the details of the incident are being specified. RA MoD Department of Information and Public Affairs

On the 28th of December, 2009 on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border a recurrent trespassing attempt was reported. Around 9:00 o’clock, on the attempt of border trespassing in the RA Tavush marz Eldar Heydar oghly Tagiev was arrested – resident of Alibeyli in the Azerbaijani Tovuz region, born in 1963. Հունվարի 10-ին, ժամը 19:00-ի սահմաններում գրանցվել է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի Երասխ-Նախիջևան հատվածի խախտման միջադեպ: ՀՀ քաղաքացի Եղիշե Պետրոսի Գևորգյանը (ծնվ. 1958թ.), կնոջ և երեք անչափահաս երեխաների հետ (7, 6 և 3 տարեկան) «Երազ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով, չենթարկվելով հայ սահմանապահների նախազգուշական հրահանգներին, ճեղքել է հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին տեղակայված արգելափակոցները, և հատելով սահմանը, ադրբեջանական կողմից ավտոմեքենայի ուղղությամբ արձակված կրակահերթի ներքո` անցել Նախիջևանի տարածք: Հայ սահմանապահների կողմից ոչնչացման կրակ չի բացվել` ելնելով ավտոմեքենայում երեք անչափահաս երեխաների գտնվելու հանգամանքից: Եղիշե Պետրոսի Գևորգյանը նախկինում 8 անգամ դատապարտվել է կողոպուտի, ավտոմեքենաների գողության և այլ հանցանքների համար: Դեպքի մասին տեղեկացվել են միջազգային համապատասխան հումանիտար կազմակերպությունները: Հարուցվել է քրեական գործ, կատարվում է նախաքննություն, դեպքի մանրամասները ճշտվում են: ՀՀ ՊՆ Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչություն

2009թ. դեկտեմբերի 28-ին հայ-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում արձանագրվել է սահմանը խախտելու հերթական փորձը: Ժամը 9:00-ի սահմաններում, Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Տավուշի մարզում սահմանը խախտելու փորձ կատարելիս ձերբակալվել է Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության Թովուզի շրջանի Ալիբեյլի գյուղի բնակիչ, 1963թ. ծնված Էլդար Հեյդար օղլի Թաղիևը: Դեպքի մասին տեղեկացվել է միջազգային կազմակերպություններին: Հարուցվել է քրեական գործ, ճշտվում են դեպքի մանրամասները: ՀՀ ՊՆ Տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչություն

<img height="333" width="250" align="left" src="/UserFiles/Image/seyran-ohanyan-1.jpg" alt=""/>Gentlemen generals, officers, ensign, soldiers, honorable battle-comrades, dear compatriots, the year of 2009 has come to an end. Like every year, this year, too, the preparations of the AF were filled with various events and programs. And we can assure that it has been a year of achievements for us. In 2009 the RA AF were guided by the following slogan: “New quality to the RA AF, and a new course to the defence reforms.” The defence reforms were aimed at keeping our Armed Forces in accordance with the modern demands and creating such a defence system, which will be capable of responding to any crisis conditions. The structural reforms in the Armed Forces made a clear distinction between the functions of the Ministry and the GS, which enabled us to improve the modern strategic planning process under the defence strategic review process.
