The Minister laid a wreath at the memorial and flowers at the Eternal Flame in memory of the innocent martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

On March 4, on the sidelines of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a private discussion with the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Nikolaos Dendias, followed by a meeting with the participation of extended delegations. The meeting included discussions on the current state of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defence sector, progress made on agreements reached during the December 2023 negotiations in Athens, and the identification of new areas for cooperation. An agreement was reached to enhance military-technical cooperation following the ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the governments of the two countries. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on regional security issues.

The national anthems of Armenia and Greece were played during the ceremony.

On February 28th, the closing ceremony of the inaugural phase of the training sessions under the Defence Audit and Risk Management Program was held at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia. During this initial phase, 19 employees of the RA Ministry of Defence received comprehensive training. Claire Henderson, the UK Special Defence Adviser in Armenia and Georgia, extended her congratulations to the program participants for the successful completion of the first round of training and presented certificates to the participants. Claire Henderson expressed gratitude for the effective cooperation, expressing hope that the program will pave the way for the establishment of a modern internal audit system within the Ministry of Defence.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia refutes the statement by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, which claimed that on February 24th, around 12:45 p.m., Armenian Armed Forces units had allegedly fired toward Azerbaijani positions in the eastern part of the border. This claim does not align with reality. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia informs that on February 24th, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Azerbaijani armed forces units discharged fire against Armenian combat positions near Verin Shorzha in the Gegharkunik region. The fire was directed towards the Armenian positions from the Azerbaijani position located at the following coordinates: 40 °05'31.68" N, 45 °52'51.44" E.
