Тhe Armenia-Italy defence consultations were held
From 19 to 20 March, the Armenia-Italy defence consultations were held in Rome with the participation of the delegation led by the Head of the Defence Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan from the Armenian side. Throughout the consultations, the delegation of the Ministry of Defence has discussed with the Deputy Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Defence of Italy and Defence Policy Director, Major General Enrico Barduani, and the Head of the International Cooperation Branch of the Italian General Staff, Colonel Mattia Zuzzi, the current status of the of Armenia-Italy defence cooperation and prospects of its development. During the discussion, L.Ayvazyan has introduced the security situation around Armenia and the ongoing reforms of the Armed Forces. The consultations culminated in the signing of the annual program of Armenia-Italy military cooperation, and several agreements were reached.

Following the welcoming ceremony at the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a meeting was convened between the Minister of Defence of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, and the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Gharayi Ashtiani. The agenda included discussions on the present state of cooperation in the defence sector and prospects for future development. Both Ministers exchanged views on international and regional issues, reiterating their commitment to establishing long-term peace and stability in the South Caucasus region. Subsequently, several agreements of mutual interest were reached during the meeting.

ԱվելինA formal welcoming ceremony was held in honor of Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia
On March 6th, in the framework of his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, a formal welcoming ceremony was held at the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran in honor of Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan. The ceremony included the presence of a military band and a guard of honour, with the national anthems of both countries being played. Prior to the commencement of the welcoming ceremony, Suren Papikyan laid a wreath and paid homage at the monument dedicated to Iranian soldiers who lost their lives in the war.

On March 4, the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Nikolaos Dendias, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the victims. The Minister laid a wreath at the memorial and flowers at the Eternal Flame in memory of the innocent martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

On March 4, on the sidelines of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a private discussion with the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Nikolaos Dendias, followed by a meeting with the participation of extended delegations. The meeting included discussions on the current state of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defence sector, progress made on agreements reached during the December 2023 negotiations in Athens, and the identification of new areas for cooperation. An agreement was reached to enhance military-technical cooperation following the ratification of the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the governments of the two countries. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on regional security issues.
