14 September, 2020 12:17The coronavirus epidemic did not disrupt the appeal process. The commission received 164 application-complaints, 20% more than during the summer conscription 2019.
The work of the commission is focused on studying and solving the problems arising in connection with the medical research and examinations being carried out during the conscription process. Responding to the petitions of the commission on them, the competent conscription bodies carried out measures for the full examination of the conscripts, checking and evaluation of the research data and made decisions to review the expert opinions on the suitability for the military service.
46 conscripts were sent for the additional and control medical research, on the results of which the conclusions on the suitability of 32 of them were revised and another 10 such conclusions were made by reassessing the medical research data. 7 of the mentioned conscripts were considered unfit for the military service, 3 were considered temporarily unfit for the military service, 32 were deferred up to 1 year.
The effective implementation of the appeal process was facilitated by the responsible attitude shown by all the conscription bodies, as well as the effective cooperation of the commission with the citizens.
