The 45-day call-up training for senior officers has concluded
2 April, 2015 00:00The spiecialized “Military management” 45-day call-up training for senior officers, which included ARM MoD, AF and GS AF representatives of various departments, separate branches, and army formations, has concluded in the ARM MoD administrative complex.
From February 9 to April 1, the call-up training was led by the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov. By the decree of ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan, within the frame of the second call-up training, 20 extra topics were added to this year’s curriculum, which further improves the officers’ professional skills. Through lectures and seminars, the participants were able to study the nature of hybrid and modern warfare, and analyze separate combat operations.
At the end of the 45-day call-up training, on April 1, a certificate awarding ceremony was conducted in the ARM MoD administrative complex. Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov praised the efficiency of these training events, improving the professional skills of the officer staff, and noted that, special attention was given to the selection of participants, involving the most trained, experienced, and promising officers. The Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces also stated that, in the present unstable military-political situation, when the enemy does not give up its aspirations, only an army formed of a professional officer staff and combat-experienced servicemembers may guarantee the preservation of peace.
