At the event speeches were made by MoD representatives, members of the educational field and civil society and Petros Ghevondyan`s comrades-in-arms. The latter presenting Peto`s life and activities highlighted his role and mission in the liberation struggle of Artsakh. He was one of the sons of Armenia, who was endowed with qualities of a strategist and an intellectual. Representatives of the education sector briefed the participants on activities carried out to educate the younger generation. They also outlined both achievements and problems in this field claiming that solutions to problems require a systematic approach. The conference was organized by the ARM Ministry of Defence and the Armenian Center of Development Programs.
