On December 8, 2008 in the capital troop of Yerevan took place the ceremony of seeing off the 10th shift of Armenian peacekeepers to Kosovo.

Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defence of The Republic of Armenia, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov and other military officers participated in the farewell ceremony of the military group. To note, the previous 9th group of peacekeepers returned to Armenia on December 7 2008. Deputy Regiment of RA Defense Ministry peacekeeper group, Colonel A. Simonyan made the opening speech, after which deputy Defense Minister, General-Colonel Yuri Khachaturov made a speech noting that today over 70 militaries are leaving for Kosovo to provide the security of inhabitants and help them. Then General-Colonel wished the staff strong will, success and the soonest return back to their Motherland. The measure was finished with solemn march past of the division.
