Issues related to regional security were discussed during the meeting. The Minister of Defence presented the border situation, noting the actions taken by Azerbaijan to destabilize the situation.

Ambassador Gallagher noted that the United Kingdom supports initiatives to promote long-term peace and stability in the region and will continue to make efforts in this direction.

Issues related to bilateral cooperation in the field of defence were also discussed. The parties expressed readiness to continue the effective programms, initiating new directions of cooperation if possible.
