Congratulating Arshak Karapetyan on assuming the post of Minister of Defence, Alexey Melnikov presented the activity of "South Caucasus Railway" CJSC in the field of cargo transportation, the state of railway infrastructure and development prospects.

The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia emphasized the strategic role of the company in both civilian cargo transportation and cargo transportation for the needs of the Armed Forces.

During the meeting the parties discussed the further cooperation programs of the RA Ministry of Defence with "South Caucasus Railway" CJSC, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
