Talking with privates, junior officers and officers of reserve, the head of the Defence Ministry called to use the three-month gathering period as efficiently as possible. Arshak Karapetyan urged to respect the commanders and to fulfill their orders unconditionally. The Minister of Defence stressed that the maximum will be done so that the participants of the gatherings are fully involved in the daily life and combat training of the military unit. Arshak Karapetyan also assured that the government will do everything possible to solve the social problems of the participants in connection with the gatherings.

The Minister of Defence visited the field canteen and checked the quality of the food, personally tasted the dishes served.

Arshak Karapetyan visited the tent village, got acquainted with the living conditions of the participants of the gathering on the spot, instructed the military unit and the command staff of the military unit to do their best to ensure quality food and proper living conditions.

Then Arshak Karapetyan visited the newly created Special Unit, to the leadership of which he introduced the newly appointed commander, Major General Artak Budaghyan. The Defence Minister praised Major General Budaghyan's contribution to the building of the army and the defence of the homeland and stressed that the personnel of the army corps should always be ready to fulfill the tasks assigned to them.

Arshak Karapetyan urged the command staff to do their best to conduct the training of the reservists who have filled the subdivisions within the framework of the three-month gatherings more effectively.

At the end of the working trip, Minister Karapetyan visited one of the areas of holding three-month gatherings, met with the reservists, got acquainted with the social and living conditions created for them. The Minister assured that his visits will be regular, and the issues related to the gatherings are under his direct control. Arshak Karapetyan thanked the reservists for their participation in the defence of the Homeland not in words but in deeds.
