On May 24, RA Acting Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan had a telephone conversation with Secretary of the Council of Defence Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Minister of Defense of Tajikistan, Colonel-General Sherali Mirzo.

Vagharshak Harutyunyan presented the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border to Sherali Mirzo. The interlocutors discussed possible ways to resolve the issue.

The heads of the defence departments of the two countries also touched upon a number of issues related to the deepening of the Armenian-Tajik cooperation in the defence sphere.
