A retraining course was held

On April 27, at the initiative of the Human Rights and Integrity Building Center, a retraining course on the topic "Right to Life" was held for the students of the center of improving the qualification of officers of the Military University of the Defence Ministry named after V. Sargsyan.

The aim of the course, organized within the framework of the Action Plan for 2020-2022, based on the National Strategy for the Protection of Human Rights, was to raise awareness of the command staff of the RA Armed Forces about the right to life and the prohibition of torture.

The course was led by Liparit Drmeyan, Deputy Representative of the Republic of Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights, Head of the Yerevan Office of the ECHR.

These courses are held on a regular basis and are devoted to the protection of human rights in the armed forces.
