On March 25, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan received the Chargé d'Affaires of the Italian Embassy in the Republic of Armenia Giovanni Nicola Dionisi, and the Military Attaché of the Embassy, Major General Roberto Vannaci.

Issues related to the Armenian-Italian bilateral cooperation in the field of defence were discussed during the meeting. The parties expressed readiness to resume the implementation of cooperation measures, limited in the conditions of a pandemic, as soon as possible.

The interlocutors also discussed other issues related to the regional security environment, existing threats and expected developments.
