During the war operations unleashed since September 27, in the conditions of martial law declared in the Republic of Armenia, many citizens received weapons and ammunition in the prescribed manner and went to the front.

Many of them have already returned from the places where the military operations took place after the established ceasefire within the framework of the trilateral agreement, but they have not yet handed over their weapons and ammunition.

The Military Police of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia once again urges the citizens called up for military service through conscription or on other grounds to voluntarily hand over the weapons and ammunition received during the war operations, as well as the weapons and ammunition taken through different ways during the combat operations to the Military Police.

Reminder: According to the part 5 of the article 235 of the RA criminal code, a person who voluntarily hands over illegally kept weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices is exempt from criminal liability, if his actions do not contain other elements of a crime.
