The Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia received the Ambassador of Poland

On September 9, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Armenia Paweł Cieplak and Military Attaché, Colonel Wojciech Wiśniewski.

The Minister of Defence congratulated Colonel Wiśniewski on starting his mission in Armenia and wished him productive work.

Stressing the importance of the Armenian-Polish cooperation in the defence sector, the Minister of Defence noted with satisfaction that, despite the restrictions conditioned by the pandemic, since the beginning of September, it has been possible to resume the activities envisaged by the plan 2020 of bilateral military cooperation. Ambassador Cieplak, in his turn, expressed the readiness of the Polish side to develop the cooperation.  The sides agreed to restore the dynamics of the cooperation.

During the meeting, the Minister of Defence also presented the security issues developing in the region.
