We post a combat appeal of Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed forces, Lieutenant General Onik Gasparyan during the operations in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, directed to the commanders and servicemen.

Azerbaijan, evoking by the multifaceted support of our enemies, cannot accept the fact of a crushing defeat in the combat operations it incited in the northeastern part of the Republic of Armenia and threatens us with a large-scale war.

We must fight and win, as the homelands are destroyed because of the tears of the poor and fear of the weak... The blood of a real fighter flows in our veins, a fighter who has always been able to fight against an enemy that exceeds in number. The heroic battles of Sardarapat, Bash-Aparan and Karakilisa (Gharakilisa), liberated Artsakh and glorious Shushi are a vivid proof of what has been said...

With the insatiable aspiration of our struggle, with the deep faith of the ancestral precept, we have shown the power of our arm to the enemy for centuries, which we also proved today in Chinari, Movses, Aygepar... and with high patriotism and devotion we have increased the glory of the weapon of the Armenian nation and the Armenian military. And the combat operations conducted by the third army corps will enter the history of the Armenian martial arts and will become an example of the efficiency of the troops’ management, commanders’ initiative and skill, as well as of the heroism and courage of the Armenian servicemen serving in the positions.

Our work is fair. We defend the sacred land of our ancestors, our paternal home, our honor and right of our people to live peacefully in a free country.

We are only destined to win. Let us show our determination and readiness to fight to the end to the conspiratorial enemy, so that it no longer tries to glance at Armenia and Artsakh.
