In connection with the spread of the new coronavirus infection in the Republic of Armenia, the concerns have been raised over the past days about the control of the situation in the Armed Forces.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia appreciates the concern and compassion of the various public circles, but assures that it works round the clock to exert the necessary efforts to prevent the penetration of the infection into the Armed Forces.

We are convinced that the Armed Forces are able to overcome this pandemic challenge and it fulfills its mission of ensuring the inviolability of the borders of the state.
