The aim of the visit was to summarize the 2019 cooperation programs with the personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, department of military education, military educational institutions and to agree on the ways of further interaction.

During the working meeting in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian side presented the reforms implemented in the military education sector and military educational institutions.

The visits of the international advisory group to the military educational institutions, meetings with the leadership of the educational centers and those responsible for the educational process were organized.

During the meetings the briefings were presented on the revision of the education projects, retraining of the faculty, new teaching methodology and certain projects being implemented with the support of the advisory group.

Academic Head of the NATO program "Development of defense education" Ernest Beno delivered lectures on “Decision-making process at the strategic level”, “Joint land operations”.

The members of the advisory group were received by Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Gabriel Balayan. During the meeting the results of the visit were summarized, the issues on the agenda of the ongoing reforms in the military education sector were discussed, the ways of further cooperation were outlined.
