Maj. Gen. (Rev.) Guy Chapdelaine, the chaplain general of the Canadian Armed Forces, who is on a friendly visit in Armenia, paid a visit to the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade.

He was accompanied by the religious leader of the Armenian Armed Forces, Archbishop Vrdanes Abrahamyan.  Rev. Chapdelaine underscored he was surprised and impressed by the great spiritual energy and faith that dominates in Armenia, especially among the Armenian soldiers.

The servicemen received King Ashot Yerkat cross badges that were previously consecrated by the tow religious leaders. The ceremony ended with the Lord's Prayer.
