Ambassador Urzayev congratulated Tonoyan on the appointment as the minister of defence, and wished him success in his work.

During the meeting, Minister Tonoyan praised the Armenian-Kazakh allied relations, conveying confidence they would continue to expand by utilising the existing great potential in several directions. The parties highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the CSTO and other international organizations.

They also exchanged opinions on regional security issues and other issues of mutual interest.
