ArmHiTec-2018 International Armaments and Defence Technologies Expo

ArmHiTec-2018 international expo of armaments and defence technologies are set to be held in Yerevan on 29-31 March. The expo is organised by the Armenian Ministry of Defence, the Yerevan Mathematical Machines Plant and Bison Union of Exhibition Companies.

The goal is to showcase the achievements of the Armenian organisations in arms and defence technologies, and become an effective platform for dialogue between the military, scientific and business circles of the participating countries, as well as to promote further international cooperation.

The sizeable scientific-practical programme of the expo includes a Russian-Armenian round table in the format of a joint meeting of the Russian Military Industry Commission, the CSTO Military Economy (Technical) Cooperation Council and the interested ministries, agencies and companies of Armenia, and the second Armenian-Russian military industry conference, the meeting of the Business Council of the CSTO Intergovernmental Committee for Military Industry Cooperation and other events.

The latest military product samples, such as communication equipment, optical electronics devices, robotics devices will be on display on the Yerevan Expo‘s more than 1500 square meter arena.

Thirty-four Armenian and over 30 organisations from 14 countries will showcase their products, including Russia’s Rosoboronexport, Concern VKO Almaz-Antey, Uralvagonzavod, MIG, India’s BEL and LARSEN & TUBRO, and companies from Germany, Italy, France, China and other countries. Additionally, representatives from 30 foreign companies will attend the expo to present their products and establish business contacts.

Delegations from more than 10 countries, including Greece, India, Russia, France, Belarus, Kazakhstan, will take part in those events. A CSTO delegation will also be in attendance.
