The parties discussed the activities carried out under the European Council's programme called "Strengthening the Application of European Human Rights Standards in the Armed Forces in Armenia" and the planned activities.

They praised the cooperation between the Armenian Ministry of Defence and the Yerevan office of the Council of Europe and emphasised the importance of further cooperation with regard to human rights protection in the armed forces.
