The International Army Games Have Commenced

The "International Army Games 2016",in which servicemen from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are participating, commenced on July 30th, in the "Alabino" military training ground near Moscow.

Servicemen from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia participated in the first stage of the "tank biathlon" on July 30th, along with servicemen from the armed forces of Russia, India, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Kuwait. The commander of the tank was Lieutenant Ashot Malkhasyan, the aiming operator was junior sergeant Gagik Grigoryan, and the mechanic-driver was private Levon Kechikyan.

The preliminary results of the "tank biathlon," which took place in challenging weather conditions, place the Armenian team in third place.

The rest of the tank crews of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia will participate on August 1st, and August 5th.
