Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan was hosted by NKR President Bako Sahakyan. At the meeting, which was attended by NKR Defence Minister Levon Mnatsakanyan, discussions were held on the large-scale offensive operations, initiated by Azerbaijan, against the NKR. Both sides emphasized on the importance of expanding and deepening the close cooperation, in order to strengthen protection and preserve stability within the region.

In the framework of collaboration between the two Republics of Armenia, throughout his visit, Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan also met with the Defence Army command staff. During the meeting, the parties touched upon the operative situation on the border between Azerbaijan and Artsakh, specifications on further plans and activities within the frame of joint works, for which the RA Minister of Defence made observations.
