The surprise visit was aimed at checking the daily service of the military personnel, and familiarizing with physical, military, and moral-psychological conditions of servicemembers. Seyran Ohanyan personally inspected the reveille, morning physical exercises, as well as the correct and effective implementation of scheduled procedures. Jogging, pull-ups, workout exercises in the military drill ground; everything was carried out in accordance with the daily requirements. The Minister of Defense also focused on the knowledge of sentinel duties, monitoring mechanisms by the command staff, schedules, and generally the availability of necessary documents for the organization of the military service. As a result of the surprise visit, Seyran Ohanyan gave adequate instructions to the military command staff to remove certain shortcomings.
