On May 20, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received several pre-registered citizens – freedom fighters, servicemen’s family members, relatives of fallen freedom fighters – and inquired about their problems. Mostly the citizens were concerned with social, legal and other issues.After getting acquainted with the issues of the citizens and the matters of their concern, and hearing the observations of responsible entities, Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan instructed to consider and give appropriate solutions for all requests and applications. The reception of citizens was also attended by Arkadi Barseghyan, father of Haykaz Barseghyan – cadet of the ARM MoD Military Institute after V.Sargsyan who was found hanged on January 29 – who addressed the Minister of Defense in person to obtain reliable information on the ongoing criminal case. At the end of the meeting, Arkadi Barseghyan expressed confidence that, under the Defense Minister’s supervision, those responsible for his son’s murder will not remain unpunished.
