On 25 January, 2011 the planning congress for the “Combined Endeavour 2011” military exercise organized by the US European Command started its work in Yerevan. The objective of the annual “Combined Endeavour 2011” military exercise is to increase the level of interaction between the Armed Forces of the participant countries in the spheres of communication, radio equipment, and information technologies. About 250 delegates from 38 countries participate in the Yerevan planning congress. At the congress Deputy ARM Minister of Defence Davit Tonoyan made an opening speech. Starting his speech Mr. Tonoyan firs condemned the terrorist activities in Moscow on January 24. Then he talked about the work of the congress and wished them effective work.
