During their visit, the ARM Defence Minister is expected to meet with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Samir Makbel, and Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Jean Kahwaji. The ARM Minister of Defence will also visit the Armenian peacekeepers involved in the UNIFIL Mission, as well as Force Commander and the Head of Mission of the UNIFIL, Major-General Luciano Portolano. Encounters are also anticipated amongst Aram I, Head of the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, the representatives of the Armenian-Lebanese community and the Spiritual Leaders of Armenian churches in Lebanon.
