Today, ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the delegation of the Lebanese Ministry of National Defense headed by Brigadier General Manuel Kirejyan. The meeting was also attended by Lebanon’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, His Excellency Jean Makaron.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation amongst the states. The ARM Minister of Defense emphasized on the necessity of establishing relations within the military and political sphere, and presented the guests with perspectives for further development of their cooperation. The Lebanese side also expressed willingness in collaborating with Armenia. On the same day, the delegation met with First Deputy Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan. The sides reached an agreement to exchange experience in different areas. They also discussed the improvement of the cooperation agreement signed in 2001 and the action plan for 2015.
