The ARM MOD Delegation participates in the international conference

From February 23 to 25, the delegation headed by Deputy Defence Minister Ara Nazaryan took part in the conference held in Washington D.C., aimed at discussing strengthening strategies for building integrity. The event was organized through joint efforts of the US Defense Department and NATO’s initiative for strengthening building integrity.

The conference was attended by the NATO Deputy Secretary General, ambassadors, diplomats, Deputy Defence Ministers, high-ranking military officers, representatives of international organizations and the civil society, as well as independent experts. On the first day of the conference, the ARM Deputy Minister of Defence held a speech presenting the ongoing activities carried out by the ARM Ministry of Defence aimed at strengthening building integrity. He also introduced the projects of anti-corruption strategies and expected institutional approaches and delivered suggestions on the spread and enhancement of building integrity. The NATO representatives appreciated and thanked Ara Nazaryan for his constructive speech, as well as for the active participation of his delegation. The delegation members were also strongly involved in the discussions with the conference syndicate groups. After the return of the delegation, a document on institutional and systematic approaches on the improvement of building integrity will be developed.
