The Minister of Defence was accompanied by First Deputy Chief of the ARM AF GS, Lieutenant-General Enriko Apriamov, Head of the ARM MOD Staff Garnik Hayrapetyan and some high-ranking officers and civil servants. During his visit, the ARM Defence Minister inspected the technical and logistical support subdivisions, as well as the armament and military equipment maintenance and repair facilities. Seyran Ohanyan discussed the current issues and further plans to enhance the efficiency of logistics support with the command staff. The Defence Minister was presented with the construction works within the military units aimed at capital improvement, a number of current and prospective auxiliary building reconstruction projects and deadlines of their operation. Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan also visited one of the military hospitals, where he examined the medical equipment; spoke with the medical staff and the soldiers undergoing treatment, wishing them quick recovery. At the end of his visit, Seyran Ohanyan attended the gala event held at Gugarats Diocese’s Prelacy, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of General Andranik Ozanian.
