In his opening speech the Minister of Defence noted that during 2014, intense works have been carried out for the repatriation of prisoners of war. The Minister stated that Armenia has always been active in the process of repatriation of prisoners and in assisting the families of missing people. During the meeting the committee members presented the events and programs conducted in 2014, and delivered their recommendations. The main working directions for 2015 have also been indicated. Mr. Seyran Ohanyan summarized the implemented works and gave a set of instructions to the committee members, in order for them to be more efficient in their future works. At the end of the session, Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan awarded several members of the committee with administrative medals, certificates and valuable gifts for their diligent activities.
