During the meeting, the parties discussed the deployment of Armenian peacekeepers in Lebanon as part of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), as well as prospects for development of Armenian-Lebanese military cooperation. It was also noted that through the deployment of Armenian peacekeepers, the bilateral relations will enter a new stage, which will afford opportunities for development of military collaboration. Both sides also affirmed the necessity of reciprocal visits for the Defence Ministers from both countries and stressed the importance of anticipated discussions.
