According to the 2014 cooperation plan established by the Defence Ministers of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, on October 13 the delegation headed by the Chief of Engineering Troops of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Yuri Stavitski, visited the Republic of Armenia in the objective of participating to the discussions and workshops on engineering units of the Armenian Armed Forces.

From October 14 to 17, the working group of the radiation, chemical and biological defence troops department from the Russian Armed Forces will also be located in Armenia to discuss issues of bilateral interest within the field of radiation, chemical and biological defence.
