Colonel Sebo presented his letter of credence issued by the U.S. Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel to the RA Minister of Defence, Seyran Ohanyan which states the general powers of the military attaché in Armenia. During the meeting the RA Minister of Defence and Ambassador Heffern had a chance to discuss the Armenian-American relations both on bilateral level and in the scope of the NATO defence cooperation, particularly issues of cooperation and interoperability between partner states on newly set platforms introduced during the NATO Summit in Wales. Ambassador Heffern assured that the American side is keen to continue enhancing military cooperation with the Republic of Armenia in all fields of mutual interest. Throughout the meeting, the parties also touched upon bilateral cooperation and regional security issues.
