The official visit of the Kansas National Guard’s Delegation to Armenia
13 August, 2014 00:00In the framework of Armenia-Kansas State partnership program, the Kansas National Guard Air Force commander, Assistant Adjutant General, Brigadier General, Bradley Link, traveled to the Republic of Armenia on an official visit from 11 to 15 of August.
Commander, Kansas Air National Guard, Brigadier General, Bradley Link was received by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, and also had meetings with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General S.Galstyan, and the Chief of Military Medical Department, Colonel K.Khachatryan.
During those meetings, issues related to the cooperation and its further expansion between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Kansas Army National Guard within the framework of Armenia-Kansas State partnership program were discussed.
The Kansas National Guard Air Force commander also visited the Military Aviation Institute of Marshal A.Khanperyanc and the Warrant Officer School, RA.
On August 14, Brigadier General B. Link participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a school and a medical clinic in Darbas, Syunik region remodeled by the airmen of the Kansas Air National Guard. In the course of those renovations, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia also had also made its contribution providing logistic support.
