Discussions mainly focused on the Armenian-French bilateral military cooperation as well as regional and international security issues. On April 16, the First Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia Davit Tonoyan received French Defence Ministry Delegation which was in Yerevan for discussions and French Ambassador to Armenia Henry Reynaud. During the meeting, the parties touched upon the bilateral cooperation, in particular issues related to military education, military health and peacekeeping activities. At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Defence Policy Department Levon Ayvazyan and the Head of the Bilateral Military Cooperation Department of the French Armed forces, the French Navy 1st Class Captain A. Villere signed an amended plan of bilateral cooperation of 2014 in the field of defence between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of France.
