The parties reflected on regional security, ceasefire violations on the contact line between the Armenian and Azerbaijani forces, and the issues of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk group. The ARM Defense Minister expressed his concerns over arms race in the region on the fact that the Armed Forces in Europe Treaty and 2011 Vienna document do not serve as restraining factors, which results in the arms race. During the meeting the parties also touched upon the issues related to human rights, building integrity, transparency, army-society relations and other projects within the frame of defence reforms carried out in Armenia within OSCE.
