Amongst the participants the military servicemen were also present In the activities of sanitation and cleaning of streets and districts of Yerevan and public use areas, who, from the early morning, were cleaning the city from household and construction waste, dry leaves and twigs. The desire to have a clean, well-maintained and green Yerevan united a number citizens and soldiers in the military pantheon "Erablur". Acting Minister of DefenseSeyranOhanyan and Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov also participated in the activities of the improvement of adjacent territories to the memorial and monuments, as well as tree planting. Attaching importance to such events, S. Ohanyannoted that the fact that the improvement activities kicked offin the pantheon of "Erablur” was not accidental. Acting Defense Minister had a walk in the pantheon and gave a series of instructions and tasks to expand the adjacent tombstones sites in order to make them more convenient for the visits of citizens. S.Ohanyan also spoke withrelatives of fallen freedom fighters, who also were in the pantheon "Erablur". Acting Minister of Defense, along with the Mayor of Yerevan TaronMargaryan, also participated in the work on landscaping and tree planting in Nor Nork administrative district. On April 12 servicemen of military units of the Armenian Armed Forces took part in the ongoing sanitary sewage works in the canyon of the river Hrazdan. In particular, servicemen landscaped areas adjacent to the monument of the Hero of the Soviet Union Oleg Koshevoi, stadium "Hrazdan", as well as the Memorial and Museum-Institute of the Armenian Genocide “Tsitsernakaberd”.
