The meeting was also attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Stepan Galstyan and the Head of Defense Policy Department of the ARM MoD Levon Ayvazyan. The participants discussed issues of further development of the combined air defense system, as well as the task of strengthening bilateral and multilateral military cooperation in the sphere of air defence of the CIS countries, the integration and improvement of the CIS air defense system at the meeting after which the ARM Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan took part in the opening ceremony of the Coordinating Committee session opening itwith a welcoming speech.
