S.Ohanyan was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Stepan Galstyan, senior military and civil servants. Within the frame of the working visit, S. Ohanyan met with the personnel of military units and servicemen engaged in combat duty, and talked about the moral and psychological atmosphere in the units, social conditions of servicemen, combat readiness and the current condition of the military equipment. During the visit, ARM Defense Minister got briefed on the the large-scale capital construction activities aimed at the improvement of the military units. Particular attention was paid to the work carried out on the overhaul subsidiary unit buildings - barracks, classrooms, dining room, study and construction of new buildings of this type. The new buildings constructed in the unit, with its capabilities and equipment, are unique in the armed forces of the world. In this regard, Seyran Ohanyan assured that the social and domestic issues of the servicemen are always in the spotlight of Defence Ministry. Pointing out the important role of air defense units in maintaining peace and security of the country and to make the best of the planned activities, S. Ohanyan gave a number of instructions and tasks to the commanders of the military units.
