Meetings of the delegation, headed by the ARM Minister of Defence, in China

On December 2, within the framework of the visit to the People`s Republic of Chinathe delegation headed by the ARM Minister of DefenceSeyranOhanyan, had meetings with the Deputy Chairman of the PRC Central Military Council, Colonel-General Sui Tsilyani and PRC National Defense Minister, Colonel-General Chang Vantsyuani.

Focal points of the negotiations were further directions of development of the Armenian-Chinese military cooperation, particularly prospects of development, in the areas of military education, medicine, combat training and military-technical cooperation. Defence Ministers of both countries signed an agreement on the annual military assistance of 5 million Chinese Yuans by the Chinese side to the Republic of Armenia.
