During the meeting Seyran Ohanyan highly praised the cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence, particularly in personnel training. The parties also gave emphasis to the possibility of the Armenian Armed Forces to join the UNIFIL peacekeeping mission in Lebanon in future. Ambassador Scapini also hailed the Armenian-Italian cooperation on his part, reassuring the willingness of the Italian side to enhance the cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia. He concluded that he would continue to remain a good friend to the Armenian nation and Armenia.
