Future prospects of cooperation in the field of defence discussed

On 8 November a meeting took place at the administrative building of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia between First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia David Tonoyan and member of the Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental committee, representative of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Iraq, Air Force General Nadeem Al-Ajvadi, who is on a visit to Armenia in the framework of an on going sessionin Yerevan.

The meeting was also attended by high-ranking officers of the Armed Forces of Armenia, during which the parties discussed matters related to future prospects of cooperation in the field of defence between the two countries in areas such as military education, training, military industry and Air Force.
